Quick and easy patient registration
Creating and managing patient records became much easier. All patient data are shown in a chart form and can individually be adjusted by selecting the necessary fields: ID, name, surname, date of birth, age, etc. |
Dermatoscopy studies are displayed on the human body diagram
For every patient, dermatoscopy study is created and is displayed in the database table as well as on the human body diagram.
Dermatoscopy studies are marked with a certain color depending on the diagnosis and is displayed on the patient’s body diagram. |
Examinations are conveniently organized in digital albums and records according to dermatoscopy criteria
Digital album is a modern approach to create, edit, manage and classify digital dermatoscopy images. To each stored album you can add marks, comments and dermatoscopy criteria.
Dermatoscopy examination
Choice of various algorithms and diagnostics methods, ABCD, Kittler, etc. Depending on the selected algorithm, the system will calculate the dermatoscopy score and will propose a diagnose according to the criteria selected by you. Tools to create marks and comments directly on the dermatoscopy image. Object selection for analysis, calculation and classification of elements. |
Report generation in accordance with modern requirements
Adjustable template allows specialists to create reports of the dermatoscopy examination without spending valuable time on routine paperwork. Saved reports are available for search, preview, edit, print, send by e-mail and export to popular formats: PDF, DOC, XLS, JPEG, GIF, PNG and many others. |

Benefits of Internet connection
Connect several workplaces to a remote server and hold video conferences with colleagues from around the world, exchange digital albums, analysis results and reports, publish your research on specialized social networks. |
Patients, dermatoscopy studies and examinations
1. Patient information
All information about patients is presented in tabular form and can be adjusted by choosing the necessary fields: ID, name, surname, date of birth, age, etc. Advanced data management tools, like folders, filters and sorting, will help you not to waste time on searching.
2. Human body diagram
When a dermatoscopy study is added, it is linked to a human body diagram considering patient’s sex and body area: chest, back, face area, etc. Size of a dermatoscopy study on the body diagram can be adjusted.
3. Dermatoscopy studies
All dermatoscopy studies are presented in tabular form with the fields: ID, date, date of the last modification, name, diagnosis, body part. Synchronous selection of dermatoscopy study in the table and the human body diagram.
4. Examination preview
Thumbnail gallery for quick preview of a dermatoscopy examination images.
5. Dermatoscopy examinations
All dermatoscopy examinations are presented in tabular form, that includes: ID, date, description and diagnosis. Convenient sorting and filtering to find examinations. Examination comparison function.
Automatic wireless transfer of dermatoscopy images

Automatic wireless transfer of digital dermatoscopy images from a camera to a digital examination album in just one button click.
The images are transmitted using Wi-Fi high-speed wireless data transfer protocol and a special accessory for digital cameras.
The procedure is very simple and requires no special skill. Just take a picture of a lesion, and the image will automatically be imported into the digital album of Vision Derma software. Forget the inconvenience of cables and wires, use the advanced technology of wireless data transfer.
Digital dermatoscopy study
Creating digital dermatoscopy study
Digital dermatoscopy study is a set of examinations with localization on the human body
1. Identify the location of a dermatoscopy study. |
2. Set the digital dermatoscopy study on the human body diagram taking the area into account. |
3. Proceed with the dermatoscopy examination. Take a photo of a lesion using a digital camera and a dermatoscope. |
Examination
Examination includes a digital album and a set of dermatoscopy criteria
After the dermatoscopy study is created, proceed with examination
1. Use a dermatoscope and a professional digital camera to take digital images of a lesion: macroimage (clinical image) and microimage (dermatoscopy). |
2. Proceed examination by adding the necessary dermatoscopy images to the digital album, entering dermatoscopy criteria into the database and making the diagnosis. |
3. The system saves all data automatically ensuring the reliability of examinations. |
Diagnosis
Dermatoscopy examination
Choose an algorithm and diagnostics method
The reference guide shows the most popular dermatoscopy algorithms: ABCD rule, Kittler algorithm, etc.
When using the ABCD rule the system calculates the dermatoscopy score automatically according to dermatoscopy criteria chosen by you.
When using the Kittler algorithm, set the dermatoscopy criteria, and the system will automatically propose the diagnosis.

Assessment of change in a dermatoscopy study at different examinations
Atlas, templates, dermatoscopy criteria and diagnosis
Atlas

Click on the “hint” button and you will see the images in the atlas, corresponding to the selected dermatoscopy criteria. Images can be added to the atlas by simply dragging and dropping them on the dermatoscopy criteria.
Templates

Ready-made text templates for reports are indispensable in routine work. Configurable set of most used text fields. After setting your preferences, you can use the ready-made report templates in your daily routine. The template is shown automatically when you start writing your conclusion in the text field.
Dermatoscopy criteria

Add you diagnosis criteria for accurate diagnosing. Flexible and adjustable reference guide helps to create algorithm of a dermatoscopy analysis, meeting your personal requirements. Add the necessary study fields (conditions, text, numbers, lists, etc.), they will be shown in the report. For fields, dermatoscopy coefficients and scores are available for automatic dermatoscopy score calculation.
Diagnosis

Configurable diagnosis reference guide will meet your personnel requirements. Set your preferences only once and use the ready-made report templates in your daily routine. A certain color is allocated to each dermatoscopy study depending on the diagnosis.
Example of a study
Differential diagnostic of a benign melanocytic skin lesion (acral nevus)
1. Add a new patient record and create a digital dermatoscopy study for him/her. |
2. Use a dermatoscope and a professional digital camera to make a digital image of a lesion: macroimage (clinical image) and microimage (dermatoscopy).
3. Add acquired images to the digital examination album.
4. Make an analysis according to the dermatoscopy criteria set by the ABCD rule. The dermatoscopy score is calculated automatically. |
5. Generate and print out your analysis report. |
Report generation
The report is based on a dermatoscopy examination
You decide how your report will look like. You can take into account different template requirements (form and content). Add and delete dermatoscopy criteria, patient information fields and images. If you need a special report template, we can design it for you based on your requirements and in your language.
